The story of the Segarizzi family is similar to that of many others that started their manufacturing adventure in the post-war years, a flourishing of industry that helped build the rich fabric of competitive SMEs that are the backbone of the italian economy. Grandfather Ezio started out in the 50's providing maintenance services for machine tools, and later repositioned the company as a contractor.

To this day all members of the family work for Tormes, with the tightly-knit team formed by Gerardo, Ornella and their sons Alessandro and Silvio providing solid leadership for the company and its highly qualified collaborators. Their honest, competent and responsible management style coupled with the attention to detail, high quality and artisan flair that characterize Tormes products have helped the company make a name for itself in the competitive market of precision turning.
